We always arrive and think we have plenty of time to do
everything and then suddenly it is the end of April and time to return
home. So much more to sort out before we
leave on Saturday. Steve went to deliver
some charcoal to Mr Jallow at home, whilst I sat and worked out the cheques for
the summer for Naata and Nemasu. Mr Sowe
at Kumbija was given his last week.
Whilst we were in Jamwelly we arranged for Sanaba to bring Tiger down to
be spayed this week before we leave, and so late in the evening he arrived with
the pup. We had to keep her locked in
the downstairs bathroom as Buki really doesn’t like intruders and as he has
already killed 5 goats and several chickens we didn’t want another
incident! She was as good as gold all
night and very friendly considering she had spent all day travelling. We watched TV with Kebba this evening before retiring.
