5.11.13 Tuesday. First visit to Naata

More shopping this morning, some of the taps in the house have corroded in the rainy season so we have to buy new ones for the bathrooms.  Then onto Naata to meet Mr Jallow and check on the school.  Abi has returned after her maternity leave and is teaching with the baby on her back.  Momodou has been recruited to replace Mary, who sadly died earlier this year.  Naata has also been affected by mould growth in the rainy season and will need some repainting, there are also some holes in the walkway at the back of the school, caused by the ants eating away at the concrete. We got a list of essentials from Mr Jallow and then returned home to continue with our home repairs.  Bas started painting the outside today, and the work in the garden continues. Tea at home
